Can take a freekick you say? Worth a place ahead of Nolan already

Re: "New Striker Flying in Tomorrow..."
Fatty will take one look at him and decide he isn't worthy of being picked. Might as well not bother.

Good source 66?

Re: "New Striker Flying in Tomorrow..."
Looking like it might indeed be Nene.

Great left foot, top scorer in the French league in 2012, played for Espanyol, PSG, and Monaco, can take a decent free kick too. 47 goals in 98 games. Billed as a left winger who can also play on the right and as a secondary striker.

As long as he's fit he'll hopefully do OK. Seems to rely on intelligence and good movement rather than pace so age may not be an issue.

As a short term replacement until the end of the season it's probably worth a punt, we shouldn't be in this position but we are so we'll just have to make the best it for now and sort it out in the summer.

Obligatory YouTube clip.

Can't Kevin Davies just drive down? Why does he need to fly in?

Re: "New Striker Flying in Tomorrow..."
If Enner doesn't score against Spurs, I'd give Lee a start against Palace.
He's been around the squad long enough, scored plenty for the u21s in mostly losing causes, and there's not much point him being here if there's no route to the first team

It's Nene, Brazilian striker/winger who is 33 and has spent most of his career in France.

Re: "New Striker Flying in Tomorrow..."
It's funny to think Sakho wasn't deemed ready for the Premier League. Until injuries gave him his chance, and he nearly broke a scoring record.

Give Lee a chance for Fuck sake.

Re: "New Striker Flying in Tomorrow..."
Elliott Lee has to be given a chance.

At his age he can no longer be continually referred to as a youngster or promising and needs to shit or get off the pot.
